    Kickboxing

    When & why did you start martial arts training?

    In 2007, A friend and fellow gym fighter, Tyson Chelin introduced me to kickboxing just to keep fit and I grew to love the sport. I have not been defeated in all the kickboxing competitions that I have entered with a record of 9 wins and 0 defeats.

    How did you transition to MMA?

    Due to an unbeaten run in kickboxing, and everyone’s sport interest shifting to MMA, I decided to give MMA a shot and I was hooked. I have entered quite a few MMA tournaments over the years with a record of 30-10-0

    What ranks & titles have you held?

    I am a 2nd Black Belt Dan in Kickboxing. I have had 3 Bantam titles fights as an amateur MMA

    How did you get your fight name?

    Even though I am short, in Kickboxing I could kick high slashing leg movements to the tallest opponent’s faces.

    Favoured technique?

    Arm Bar. I have managed to win quite a few bouts through this technique.

    Who is your hero and why?

    Rhynne Hassan, my coach and mentor. He is very knowledgeable on techniques and when he trains me, he makes even the complex technique just falls into place.

    What other interesting information can you tell us about yourself?

    Drawing and designing Tattoos.

    What does it mean for you to fight in the EFC?

    To fight at the EFC level and to be in the line-up with some of the big-name EFC fighters is a dream come true. I hope to showcase my talent and sharpen my skills, while learning from other professional fighters.
