EFC 45 MEDICAL SUSPENSIONS



Cape Town, South Africa – EFC 45 saw a variety of knockouts, submissions and injuries that require mandatory time off from training and competing in order for athletes to recover properly.

The event officials representing MMA SA PRO in conjunction with EFC released the medical suspensions from Saturday’s EFC 45 at GrandWest, Cape Town

Post event medical suspensions:
All athletes receive a mandatory 7 day precautionary medical suspension.

Gideon Drotschie – 30 days no contact/30 day suspension – Laceration to left forehead

Champion Dalcha – 14 days no contact/14 day suspension – Soft Tissue damage

Ruan Potts – Indefinite suspension – Nasal Fracture

Warren Allison – 14 days no contact/14 day suspension – Elbow ligament strain

Danie van Heerdeen – 14 days no contact/14 day suspension – Orbital trauma

Cameron Pritchard – 30 days no contact/30 suspension – Knee ligament strain

Kirsty Davis – Indefinite suspension – Fractured digit

Francois Kabulu – Indefinite suspension – Suspected spinal injury

Martin de Beer – 14 days no contact/14 day suspension – Choked out

Robert Simbowe – 14 days no contact/14 day suspension – Ankle sprain

Ivan Strydom – Indefinite suspension – Knee ligament injury
