MEDIA MADNESS STARTS TOMORROW

Johannesburg, South Africa – EFC 44 is just around the corner with only seven days to go! Headlined by the massive heavyweight title fight clash between South Africa’s Andrew van Zyl and France’s Cyril ‘Silverback’ Asker, the foreign invasion continues. Co-headlining next Saturday’s event sees the unbreakable lightweight champion Leon ‘Iron Lion’ Mynhardt set out to defend his championship against his newest threat, in the undefeated Zimbabwean Themba ‘The Answer’ Gorimbo, and the dominant featherweight champion Boyd Allen looks to further cement his legacy when he defends his gold belt against the dangerous Scotsman Danny Henry. Plus, see South Africa’s sweetheart of MMA Danella Eliasov square-off against the former amateur world champion, Italy’s Micol Di Segni. All this and seven more action packed bouts scheduled for Saturday 3 October at Carnival City, Johannesburg.

Kicking things off, the official EFC Media Day takes place this Saturday. Open to all members of the press for exclusive interviews and FREE for all fans to meet their favorite athletes ahead of next week’s EFC 44 event.
